Indigo Tile Coat – Platinum Series is a specialized emulsion designed for application on roof tiles, concrete, and plastered walls. Its primary function is to offer a protective barrier that provides exceptional water repellency, preventing water seepage and the growth of algae and fungus. The formulation ensures a rich sheen finish that enhances the visual appeal of the roof, with non-fading colors that retain their vibrancy over time.
This tile coat is characterized by its superior adhesion to surfaces, ensuring a durable and long-lasting performance. It is easy to apply with a brush, roller, or spray, and it is a water-based paint, making it a more environmentally friendly option with a low Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) content of less than 50g/L.
For optimal results, proper surface preparation is crucial. The surface must be thoroughly cleaned of any loose paint, dust, grease, and biological growth like algae or fungus. A self-priming coat is recommended, which is achieved by thinning the Tile Coat with water. This is followed by two coats of the paint, with a specified drying time of 4-6 hours between each coat. The coverage of the paint is approximately 10-12 square meters per liter for a single coat.
The Indigo Tile Coat – Platinum Series is available in a variety of shades and comes in packaging of 1, 4, 10, and 20-liter containers.
