Indigo PU Super Gloss Enamel – Platinum Series
This enamel represents the pinnacle of decorative and protective coatings for wood and metal surfaces. By infusing a high-quality synthetic enamel with the power of polyurethane (PU), this Platinum Series product is engineered to outperform traditional enamels in every aspect. The PU fortification creates an armor-like film that offers superior resistance to scratches, stains, and daily wear and tear. It is designed for those who seek not just colour, but also a sophisticated, high-gloss finish that looks newer for longer, maintaining its sheen and pristine appearance even under challenging conditions.
Performance & Key Attributes
- Polyurethane (PU) Fortification:
- This is the core feature, providing a tough, resilient paint film with superior hardness. It offers excellent resistance to scratches, abrasion, and impact, making it ideal for high-touch surfaces like doors and railings.
- Rich, Mirror-Like Gloss:
- Dries to a smooth, super high-gloss finish that provides a luxurious, deep lustre. Its excellent flow and leveling properties ensure a flawless, brush-mark-free appearance that reflects light beautifully.
- Superior Non-Yellowing Performance:
- A significant advantage over conventional enamels. It is formulated with special PU-alkyd resins that actively resist the yellowing effect of aging and sunlight, ensuring that white and light shades stay true and bright for a much longer time.
- Excellent Stain & Washability:
- The hard, non-porous film is highly washable and easy to maintain. It prevents stains from penetrating the surface and can be cleaned easily with a mild soap solution without losing its gloss.
- All-Weather Durability:
- Contains anti-fungal additives to protect the surface and provides robust protection for both interior and exterior surfaces, demonstrating excellent adhesion on both wood and metal.

Systematic Application Guide
- Surface Preparation: A perfect finish requires perfect preparation.
- Wood: Sand the surface sequentially with Emery Paper No. 180 and then No. 320. Wipe clean. Prime with an appropriate wood primer.
- Metal: Remove all rust and scale with a wire brush. Degrease the surface. Apply an appropriate metal primer (e.g., Red Oxide Zinc Chromate).
- Previously Painted Surfaces: Scrape off all loose and flaking paint. Sand the surface to a dull, matt finish to ensure good adhesion.
- Priming & Putty: Apply one coat of the appropriate Indigo Primer. After drying, apply putty to fill any dents or imperfections, then sand and apply another coat of primer over the putty.
- Enamel Application:
- Stir the enamel thoroughly and dilute with MTO as per the recommended ratio.
- Apply the first coat with a high-quality brush or spray. Allow it to dry for at least 12-16 hours.
- For a truly exceptional finish, lightly sand the first coat with a fine waterproof sandpaper (No. 400) before wiping clean and applying the second coat.
