Systematic Application Guide

To achieve the best results from this economical paint, a proper application process is essential.

1. Surface Preparation (The Foundation):
   • Ensure the surface is completely dry, solid, and clean. Remove all dust, grease, algae, and loose particles by scraping and wire brushing.
   • For previously painted surfaces, scrape off all old paint completely.
   • Fill any minor cracks with a suitable putty or crack filler and allow it to dry.
2. Priming (Highly Recommended):
   • Applying a coat of Indigo Interior Wall Primer is strongly recommended. A primer seals the surface,prevents the wall from absorbing the paint unevenly, and significantly improves the final appearance and coverage of the distemper.
   • Allow the primer to dry for 6 – 8 hours.
3. Distemper Application:
   • Stir the Indigo Acrylic Distemper well before use.
   • First Coat: Dilute the paint with the recommended amount of clean water (50-60%) and apply a uniform coat with a brush or roller.
   • Second Coat: Allow the first coat to dry for a minimum of 4-6 hours. Apply the second coat with a slightly lower dilution (40-50%) to achieve a smooth and even finish.

Post-Application & Safety
