Systematic Application Guide

For a professional and long-lasting finish, follow this recommended procedure:

1. Surface Preparation (The Foundation):
   • The surface must be completely cured, clean, dry, and free of all contaminants like dust, dirt, grease, and loose or flaking paint.
   • Scrape off all old paint thoroughly using a wire brush and sandpaper (Emery Paper No. 180).
   • Fill any cracks or holes with a suitable crack filler or putty (like Indigo Polymer Putty). Allow it to dry completely.
2. Priming (Crucial for Adhesion & Finish):
   • Apply one coat of Indigo Interior Wall Primer to the prepared surface.
   • This step is vital as it seals the porous surface, prevents absorption of the topcoat, and enhances the adhesion and overall appearance of the distemper.
   • Allow the primer to dry for 6 – 8 hours.
3. Distemper Application:
   • Stir the Indigo Acrylic Distemper thoroughly before and during the application process.

• Safety: Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Keep out of reach of children.
