Method of Application:

1. Surface Preparation: For optimal adhesion, ensure surfaces are structurally sound, clean, dry, and free from any dust, dirt, oil, grease, or old sealant. Use masking tape on adjacent surfaces for a neat finish.
2. Cartridge Preparation: Trim the tip of the nozzle at a 45° angle to achieve the desired bead size. Puncture the inner membrane seal of the cartridge.
3. Application: Place the cartridge in a standard caulking gun. Apply the sealant by extruding a continuous, uniform bead into the joint, ensuring it makes full contact with both sides.
4. Tooling: Immediately after application (within 5-10 minutes), tool the sealant bead with a wetted finger or a specialized tool. This presses the sealant into the joint and creates a smooth, professional finish.
5. Finishing: Carefully remove the masking tape before the sealant starts to form a skin.
6. Curing: The sealant will be touch-dry in approximately 15-30 minutes and will fully cure in 24-48 hours, depending on the bead thickness, humidity, and temperature. It achieves its full strength and properties after 7 days.
