Method of Application:

For a successful and lasting repair, follow these steps:

1. Surface Preparation: The crack must be thoroughly cleaned to remove any dust, debris, grease, or loose particles. Use a wire brush or a scraper to widen the crack into a “V” or “U” shape for better filling. The area should then be dampened with water to a saturated surface dry (SSD) condition.
2. Mixing: Take the required quantity of Dr. Fixit Crack-X Powder in a clean container. Slowly add water, mixing continuously until a smooth, lump-free, and workable paste is formed. The recommended mixing ratio is approximately 3 parts powder to 1 part water by volume. Only mix enough material that can be used within 30 minutes.
