Dr. Fixit Pidiproof LW+

Dr. Fixit Pidiproof LW+ is a blend of surface-active plasticizing agents, polymers, and additives. When mixed with cement, it disperses evenly and becomes an integral part of the cementitious matrix. Its primary function is to block the natural capillaries present in concrete and plaster, which are the main pathways for water seepage. By doing so, it creates a watertight structure that can withstand hydrostatic pressure and prevent the penetration of moisture.

This versatile waterproofing solution is ideal for a wide range of applications in new construction and renovation projects, including:

• Roofs, Slabs, and Screeds: Provides a crucial layer of protection for horizontal surfaces exposed to rainfall and standing water.

Method of Application:

For optimal results, it is recommended to add 200ml of Dr. Fixit Pidiproof LW+ for every 50 kg bag of cement. The standard procedure for its use is as follows:

1. Dry mix the cement and aggregates (sand) for 1-2 minutes.
2. Add 75-80% of the required water and mix for another 2-3 minutes.
3. Add the recommended dosage of Dr. Fixit Pidiproof LW+ to the remaining water and mix it into the cement mixture.
4. Continue mixing for an additional 2-3 minutes to achieve a consistent and workable mix.
5. Apply the concrete or mortar as required and ensure proper curing as per good construction practices.
